Expand your world, your knowledge, yourself

The School of Communication at the University of Southern Mississippi offers an introductory course covering British culture through its storytelling, journalism and social media during the summer 2020 as part the USM British Studies Program. Students will spend four weeks in London attending lectures, hearing from experts in all fields of mass communication and visiting media institutions and related sites to learn about the practice of all aspects of journalism — print, broadcast, public relations, social media, photography — in the United Kingdom. The course, which runs from May 30 - June 28, 2020, offers six hours of credit in MCJ 499 (undergraduate) or MCJ 599 (graduate). The instructor for the course is Maggie Williams, an instructor in USM’s School of Communication (usm.edu/communication).
