Expand your world, your knowledge, yourself

The School of Mass Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern Mississippi will offer an introductory course covering journalism, public relations, social media and the British culture during the summer 2017 as part the USM British Studies Program. Students will spend four weeks in London attending lectures, hearing from experts in all fields of mass communication and visiting media institutions and related sites to learn about the practice of journalism, public relations and social media in the United Kingdom. The course, which runs from June 1 to July 2, 2017, offers six hours of credit in MCJ 499 (undergraduate) or MCJ 599 (graduate). The instructor for the course is Maggie Williams, an instructor and internship coordinator for USM’s School of Mass Communication and Journalism (usm.edu/mcj).
